Health & nutrition

We’re as committed to your family’s health as you are. We’re continually improving our breakfast cereals to make them as healthy as they can be without compromising on the great taste that you love.

Our breakfast cereals are typically low in fat, especially saturated fat, and rich in carbohydrates. Cereals such as Shredded Wheat, Shreddies, Cheerios and Fitnesse are a great source of fibre and whole grain. Nestlé cereals also typically provide 25% of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) of vitamins and minerals per serve.

We've reduced sugar and salt across many brands; several of our cereals contain no added sugar and salt at all, and we've removed partially hydrogenated fats completely. We also use whole grain in all our cereals, and you can find out more about why this is so good for you here.

After all, you wouldn't expect anything else from the name you trust to supply you with the most important meal of the day.
